About the project

MasterBundles is a graphic design marketplace where you can buy and sell a variety of graphic design resources—from vector images and fonts to templates and stock content. Our client approached us with the goal of improving the product page and optimizing the journey from viewing an image to completing the purchase. Despite a high volume of traffic to product pages, the conversion rate remained low. Our objective is to create an engaging and user-friendly experience that encourages successful purchases, taking into account the specific characteristics of traffic on product pages.

Problems

🔴

Excessive Information

Overloading with unnecessary details complicated the search for relevant data.

🔴

Inconvenient Product Viewing

The absence of convenient image viewing hindered users from fully examining the product.

🔴

Distracting Interface

Bright design diverted attention from essential information, creating visual noise.

🔴

Inconvenient User Path

Unclear user experience necessitated extra clicks.

🔴

Mobile usability is a major issue

Due to limited space, even simple tasks become a challenge.

Simple User Flow

Having researched competitors and successful online stores' user flows, along with a thorough understanding of technical limitations, I've devised the simplest and most user-friendly flow. This ensures a seamless development process, minimizing unnecessary costs.

Content-Centric Design Focus

A users comes here to find the visual content they need (images, fonts, icons, illustrations, etc.). I've removed all unnecessary elements, ensuring focus solely on the sought-after product.

Mobile Adaptation

In the mobile interface, I maintained the same principles as on the desktop. Additionally, I aimed to empower users with immediate access to all key functions without unnecessary scrolling or extra steps.

Consistency
and Simplicity

In the checkout process, I adhere to the earlier discussed principles and implement recognizable patterns to enhance user navigation.

Colors
and Branding

On the old website, there were two vibrant colors along with numerous effects.

Final Design

What is this?

When purchasing a product, users have the option to choose personal, commercial, or extended commercial licenses. User surveys and click metrics on the "What is this?" button indicate that users often struggle to understand the distinctions between these categories. As a solution, we've added brief descriptions for each, resulting in significantly improved comprehension.

Checkout

Having reviewed the best practices and Baymard's checkout research, I've streamlined it for maximum user simplicity. Additionally, I aimed to achieve this with minimal development costs.

Redesign
Impact Overview

Excited to share my positive experience after the redesign of the product page. The new design is not only visually appealing but has significantly impacted key metrics. Conversion rates have increased, and checkout time has improved. It's particularly satisfying to see positive feedback from both existing and new users. Tests have confirmed the successful implementation of the design, and overall, the results exceeded expectations.
